One-Handed Putting

No matter how well you strike the ball from tee to green, your score won't reflect your shot making skills unless you can make putts.  When playing a new course, the greens are unfamiliar.  They may be faster, firmer, flatter, hillier, slower or have more grain.  To get the feel of these green spend a few minutes on the practice green with five golf balls.  Using your trail hand only, strike putts to different targets across the green.  This will give you a wonderful feel for your stroke the swinging of the putter and the speed of the green.  You may be surprised how solidly you strike the putts and how close they end up to the target.  Now gently place your lead hand on the club and try and reproduce the same action.
